Recently iMovie updated to iOS 16 and if you are using iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be noticed that you are unable to Install but the main point is whether iMovie still working or not after updated for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
Unlike other apps like iMovie, Garageband is also in the iOS 16 list I know not only iPhone 7 & 7 Plus iPhone 6s, and 6s Plus users also face this issue same as these iPhones stuck right now on iOS 15.7.4

if you have not installed iMovie before it is really impossible now to install it as requires iOS 16 you need to have multiple iPhones that support iOS 16 make sure you use the same Apple ID with your iPhone 7 and 7 Plus try to Install on your other iPhone than you can able to Install it

So, I tried and tested out iMovie on my iPhone 7, and it’s working fine edit one video and it still export the file that I have edited also most of its features works like trimming, adding music, or adding voice cover so it good for basic editing purpose

So, all you need is to upgrade your iPhone to a newer iPhone that supports the latest version of iOS 16
