First you need to download the YouTube with help of ITunes you can download with Pc or Mac

After knowing how to install previous version of App in iPhone you need to do the same with

YouTube.

Previously doing this would not work with iOS 7.1.2 but you have believe now this works

Go to iTunes download the YouTube now

As you can see a download icon showing into your iOS 7.1.2 in App store

Now

When you click on the install icon you can see now App store showing you that YouTube is now available for iOS 8 but still you can download the last compatible version but it not available earlier but right it available so just tap to download

When it Starts wait few minutes

Now you can see the Download now starts
